11.0. Tournament Classification

To determine the classification of a tournament, the average rating of the players is determined. The categories of International Title Tournaments are given by the following chart. This shows the minimum percentage score required to achieve the result when playing in that category.
11.1	The average rating is the total of the players' ratings (including the title candidate) divided by the number of players.
11.2	Rounding of the average rating is made to the nearest whole number. The fraction 0.5 is rounded off upward.
