Games of this time control shall be named Rapid Chess.
Federations should be permitted to use alternative names determined by language
and sponsorship considerations. |
2. |
The title of "Expert" shall be awarded to players who achieve a
Rapid Chess rating above 2300 in over 90 Rapid Chess games from two Rapid Chess
rating lists (minimum 30 games per list). |

The scale of entry fees shall be:

Intercontinental Tournament |

Finalists |
SFr.250 | Entry fees are waived
for a period of four years until 1998. (GA '94) |

Registration fee is SFr.100 for each Rapid Chess event. (GA
